Two shared taxis and a couple of hours later, me and Lisa finally arrived in Tangier.
She was just passing through it, but I was going to stay for another 2 days.
Lisa booked her overnight train ride and we got a cab to take us to my Riad.

Marrakech Sunset
Since this was my second time in Marrakech this year, I was basically going back with the knowledge of a local.
But because I don’t speak French or Arabic well enough, it resulted in a fight with a cab driver, who dared to demand
50 euros…
In less than 2 weeks I will be on a plane to Uganda to see “Gorillas in the Mist” at UNESCO World Heritage Site ~ Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Will be traveling solo instead of the usual Overland Truck Tours that have become so popular with Tourists in Africa.
Even though there has been a deadly virus Ebola outbreak in Western Uganda, which led to 14 deaths in the past weeks, mass cancellations and several millions of dollars loss to Uganda Tourism. And even resulted in “no hand shake meeting” between Hillary Clinton & The President of Uganda…

My 3 day, 2 night journey into the Sahara began early in the morning, 26th of March, at my favorite cafe — Imzzane Cafe
This was a last minute decision.. as usual & paid around $100 for this trip five minutes before departure..
My second day in Marrakech began early in the morning at one of my favorite places ~ Imzzane Cafe. It’s a local gem!
Where every single day I enjoyed the best coffee and breakfast in town.
I sat on the outside terrace with a morning glow on my face that was soon replaced by butterflies of excitement in my soul.
Watching this amazing city burst with it’s rainbow of life, into a new day …
