Two Sides Of The Same Coin
by Lena
A very sad day for the Russia my father lived and died in.
Even sadder the fact, that Russia and USA are two sides of the SAME coin and that every citizen of those two countries are only pawns.
Pawns, that are constantly being murdered, starved and raped by their own greedy fucking governments.
Today, I am not a proud Russian and I am not a proud American.
I am ashamed to be the owner of those passports. I am ashamed to be a part of today’s society of greed, murder and fascism against humanity.
It sickens my soul to see what our world has become.
A world, where people are being turned against one another by mass media propaganda and their ruthless puppeteers.
We have IDENTICAL chips on our passports…
“People shouldn’t be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.” ~V for Vendetta

Elena, you blame both of these Giants but do not want to stay in any third country for living to find freedom and peace for yourself. Why? If nothing is interesting from material world to you chose the place with spiritual component and stay there. It is masochism to live in the environment which you hate.
Your next post is some sort of propaganda too. May be in a good way but still. Aggressiveness is not the way to talk about Love and Freedom. Your words are right but delivery is not adequate pretty often.
Sorry for the criticism (see your next post).
Love likes Silence.
thank you for your comment. What giants are you talking about? I think you missed the core of this message. I travel to how you said “3rd country” all the time.. on my way to Cuba for a month, 2nd time this year. And moving away is something I would love to do, but it takes time to make that happen. So what are you talking about? .. I have 2 passports exactly for that reason – I am a nomad and will always be one – traveling from place to place. “Aggressiveness” ? wow. anyway, I don’t wish to spend my energy on arguing with you or trying to show you, something that is hidden under a veil. ps – i live what I preach – I don’t have TV for 8 years and shop only in second hand stores and choose to help kids across the globe (just like I’m doing now in Cuba) Have a wonderful weekend.
Two Giants you mention in your post – Russia and US.
Enjoy your weekend too!
ps – propaganda is governments business, not mine. I’m out of those so-called giants 5-6 months out of the year.. traveling and living in so-called 3rd countries, who’s people are more educated, smarter and happier, then those “2 Giants”.. Facts is not propaganda, darling.
Elena, my question was why you do not move to Cuba or any country like it for permanent residential and still using advantages of having US passport?
i have earned the ability to travel with 2 passports and i can stay anywhere I want. Permanent? Are you kidding? Have you not been reading my stories? I can not stay ANYWHERE permanently. I am a NOMAD. I have changed 11 places where I live in the past 11 years. Permanent is not in my vocabulary. I do not live in USA or Russia.. these are bases and places that some of my family lives in. My mom is in Turkey (which i visit all the time) I have EARNED those advantages and why would I give them up? If I’ll be forced to be vaccinated or chipped, like my dog has, then yes, it will be time to renounce the citizenship, until then, I’ll be traveling non stop – 5-6 months out of the year )) and yes, I would love to live in places like Cuba, maybe 3 months out of the year and the rest traveling non stop. ) I am a nomad… I don’t have a home… road is my home – does that answer your question? I have Dual Citizenship and I’m ripping the benefits of traveling the world almost visa free. Well, can’t get free healthcare, education or housing with them, but at least can travel the world visa free. Places like Cuba, might have shitty leaders or system, but they do have free healthcare, housing and education, and can construct a sentence without an idiotic like between every word. I repeat again, since I don’t think you understood – I WILL NEVER LIVE ANYWHERE PERMANENTLY!! is that ok with you? or do I have to be like you? with a permanent residency?
Ok, Elena, our conversation came to the end. I totally understand what is your point, what kind of life you live and respect your choice. It is easy to understand you. Do not think people with different opinion are stupid.
Enjoy your weekend!
I don’t. That is why before anyone posts a comment it reads “Speak Your Truth” … Challenging the things we were taught, only means, finding your own truth, amongst so many lies, that are thrown at us on daily basis. I respect your truth. Thank you for speaking it and challenging my views. I support that. When I ask people to question things they are told, I want them to question everything… including myself. Thank you, Alex.
well said! It must be hard to be stuck in the middle of your two loyalties.
yep, on one hand, i’m questioned by KGB for an hour at airport, while trying to enter Russia with Russian passport (that was given out in San Francisco) as to why I have US passport and how did I get it, with open hatred from some Russians because I’m a “traitor”, for having second passport. From all the bullshit media propaganda that’s being fed over there. Then I come back to US and when I speak my mind about the murder this country does under pretext of “war on terror” that this government have orchestrated for the masses, in order to fear them and justify there bloodshed in so many countries for billions in oil etc, I’m considered “the truther” or whatever the fuck else. If only Americans were not feared and brainwashed as much, so they could travel more and see for themselves. I do not own TV for 8 years for a reason. The day, America stop killing their own and abroad, gives it’s citizens FREE healthcare, education, fair trials, fair elections and stop police brutality, I will say, I’m a proud American. However the hatred that has been bred within Russia, where brother goes on brother, is not the Russia I knew. I have traveled to 40 countries and lived in 10.. I consider myself a Citizen of world and PEACE. How can America let sick people die, who can’t afford the astronomical bills of this billion dollars “health” corporations and yell from the top of their lungs, that this is the best country in the world?? Even Cuba has free healthcare! I am happy, that with two passports, and not buying into American dream, or the Russian one, I’m able to spend all my money on traveling and seeing the world with my own eyes, instead of being trapped inside the Matrix. I am completely free from the chuckles of today’s slavery (mortgage, college debt, car, tv, and two and a half kids) Our world doesn’t need more people, it needs better people. People who have critical thinking, compassion and vision for a better future. I am an American, I am Russian and I’M AGAINST WAR!
I sympathize and am sorry you feel so, though I see the issue as more complex and note many differences – regardless of the good and evil present in all systems.
Hopefully you can be restored to a more cheerful mood: <3 life is full of beautiful things, everywhere you look for them, in spite of unbearable wrongs.
I agree. It is very sad and disappointing to see these things. One of my favorite songs is called “The Same Parents” done by Enigma. This subject always brings tears to my eyes.
Thank you for that post. I wish more people would come to understand the truth that it IS one system. We (regular people) are just peons. Used and abused to support the ‘global elites’. It has no bearing at all what countries they say they’re from or support.
Until the masses of people wake up to the truth and decide to DO something about it, it will only continue to get worse.
The they are scared and have been for the last 4 years. It was going to get worse in their fear before better. They all fear their deaths for what they have done and doing. It ill end this brutal phase one by the GMLA of worldwide executons. It will be a lesson to the adult who can only create another one for phase 2.
We as humans are capable of unspeakable horrors and yet we can also create so much, build and produce magnificent things, offer kindness, support one another when there is a crisis and the list goes on. We live in a society that is fast paced and in many countries life is abundant and in others poverty is high. Communication and media is certainly a huge part of our lives often even when we don’t want to be a part of it. We still have a long way to go before we can use the term civilized. We are still working on it and the road will be long… :) Great Post Elena
The world is better off without humans. Disgusting people who worship money over humanity, over the well-being of our species, and over progress. Even though I’m not that knowledgeable on what’s happening there, I would like you to know it’s a great poem.
It’s times like these when I wonder if humanity really is doomed to a terrible fate akin to those we see in the post-apocalyptic/dystopian future novels. This is why I don’t watch the news. It’s far too depressing to bear.
It means the world is not getting better, but it’s getting worst.
I have blogged a lot of wordy commentary trying to say what you just did so eloquently and succinctly! Thank you!
The world is in a sad state as your post clearly indicates…be well.
True. Any system, regardless of the philosophy, that has the same end result IS the same system. When Krushchev visited the United States, he said it himself.
Thank you for your lucidity, your passion and your vision !
