This was an amazing hike!
I highly recommend it to everyone who lives and visits Los Angeles.
It’s a true wilderness with stunning views and crystal clear air.
I really hope to go there right after it rains someday soon..
Will climb the “Balance Rock” and “Inspiration Point” on my next visit.

Your photos made me almost feel like I was back in California. I think they say sense of smell is the strongest sense for memory and I could almost smell the mountains….especially in the ‘boy scout’ picture.
The air is great up there! Even when just running through the bushes.. it feels like running through a forest with all the amazing scents of wilderness and flowers..

My room has two twin beds! :) Also, I’m reaching out to a friend who does off-roading tours of the Sahara to see how much it would cost – wondering if you’d like to do that while you are here. It’s my favorite thing to do! Maybe camp out in the desert for a night or two. Let me know…

But I already booked my stay in Cairo.. it’s a gorgeous private room on the 5th floor of a stunning old building with loads of character and charm, with balcony overlooking the whole Cairo and very cheap! : ) .. i think i have a gift for finding best places & prices when traveling or not : ))
About spending the night or 2 in the Sahara — I’m doing that in Morocco : ) .. will spend my 28th Birthday under the stars, surrounded by the highest dunes – Erg Chebbi..
I would really like to visit the Pyramids of course, get lost in a city.. and maybe we can go on a Sunset cruise on the Nile River together? I also thought about getting a tattoo there.. but not sure about this one : )) …
