ps – about wanting to move back — we have a great Russian saying ” It’s good where we are not ” …
guess that’s why I choose a “Nomadic life” … I want to love, know and explore many places and do many things.. instead of living in one place (no matter how beautiful or comfortable it might be) and have a “groundhog day” type of life.
Oh, are you Russian? My parents are from Russia! I had to laugh about you preferring not to live the ‘groundhog day’ type of life as when we lived in LA, I would say to my husband, “It feels like groundhog day.” The weather was always the same! And now I miss LA. The grass is always greener :)
I’m a wild mix actually : )) but yes, Russian blood runs thick in me …
I guess it does in you too ; )
Marina is a very Russian name ..
Did your parents come here long time ago?
I do miss four seasons sometimes too… however I prefer warm climate! I can’t stand putting a thousand layers of clothing before I can go outside : )) !
Hi! My parents emigrated to Australia actually (mum was born in china, dad – Germany; both, to Russian parents). My mum is a Russian school teacher so yes, I went to Russian school :) Thanks for the comment about my blog :)))
