                                                          ” Pura Vida! “

This was an amazing adventure! It’s a gorgeous land which is a home to the most happy, proud and kind people. Ticos ( Costa Ricans ) choose to celebrate life every day and are always grateful for everything they have in their lives. These people treasure human soul above human status, always.

  •  Sunset/night hike to Arenal Volcano with flashlight and without a guide

  • Stayed at the AMAZING! Hidden Canopy Treehouses Boutique Hotel. It is a true home away from home and Jen is absolutely the best hostess I have come across! This is a Hidden Paradise with stunning views of the Gulf of Nicoya.

View from Hidden Canopy boutique hotel in Monteverde.

Be sure to check it out!  –  I miss it and can’t wait to come there again.

  • Did Ziplining at the Original Canopy Tour in Monteverde

“The Original CanopyTour” Jimmy Carter has been on it. “All the pathos and irony of leaving one’s youth behind is thus implicit in every joyous moment of travel: one knows that the first joy can never be recovered, and the wise traveler learns not to repeat successes but tries new places all the time.” – Paul Fussell

  • Swam in Rio Celeste Waterfall

    Rio Celeste Waterfall

Rio Celeste is the crown jewel of Northern Costa Rica. The Light Blue River, a winding body of water surrounded by amazing rainforest in the Tenorio Volcano National Park, sports one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful waterfalls. Rio Celeste is located in Guatuso, San Carlos, north of La Fortuna, Arenal.

The unique phenomenon of clear water turning blue by means of a volcanic (Tenorio Volcano) chemical reaction.

” Stop, no swimming ” Ooops.. Somehow I always notice the signs after the fact ..

    After the swim

  • Talked my way out of a $600 speeding ticket and agreed on $60, which went directly into the cops hands.
  • Got a free watermelon
  • Drove on the road which even locals thought was closed for construction
  • Swam in Llanos del Cortez Waterfall

Llanos De Cortez Waterfall. BTW that tiny dot in the water is moi.. : )

  • Had one of the best dinners of my life at the Mar Y Sol restaurant in Playa Flamingo! It’s worth going to Costa Rica just for that! I was speechless.

    Preparation of my desert …

    Voila! This was insanely delicious!

  • Shared breakfast with a Parrot

    Parrot Lorreta loves pancakes!

    Time Flies When Having Rum…

  • Had two visitors at night, that came through my balcony — a pair of Raccoons.
