WOW! Love it. Here’s a street mural of a punch and judy style sock fight. Just don’t read the stupid jokes below. http://ev.erything.com/how-to-start-a-fight/ Not quite on the same level, but hey.
Just looked up the etymology of “inspiration” and learned that inspiration is the “immediate influence of God or a god,” especially that under which the holy books were written. From Old French, “inspiration” is “inhaling, breathing in; inspiration,” I thought that you captured in your photos that moment in time when you breathed in the source of this beauty and produced something inspirational.
Nothing like gazing at the beauty that is Southern California to set the day right! Thank you for sharing your lovely images of a place I hold dear to my heart!
I can see why it is called “Inspiration Point” beautiful..The photos were amazing, especially the final one. Nice, thanks for letting us inside your camera..

This is not my personal post. It is of Elena, one of the bloggers I follow, and it was so amazing to see these photos as I opened my computer this chilly morning in Calgary, that I felt I had to reblog it for others following me to see. All credits for photos and content belong to Elena.
there were a couple of unexpected things that went wrong along the way ( like being lost at night in the middle of nowhere.. but thankfully things worked out fine .. and besides, these photos were worth it .. )
maybe sometime later.. it wasn’t all roses.. trust me!! Me & mr. bond got really, really lost … at night in true wilderness.. at one point I thought I was in one of those horror movies ” wrong turn ” .. where you think you reached the end of the road, but you’re just in some weird parking lot with a bunch of old cars, sound of river, cellphone battery dies on both phones, cold, dark, 10 miles behind and nowhere near the end … glad to have run into a family that was camping, they gave us a ride down the main road to our car ( LA truly is a city of Angels ) .. but I will never forget the fear I felt .. As soon as it became really dark I was carrying a stick ( my Maasai Warrior friends in Kenya would have been very proud of me : )
so you see, the pictures I took and the story don’t match : ))
Ah ha – I see. Sounds like it was quite a frightful night – I know how that can feel. Beauty of the sunset, terror of the darkness. Does lend itself to more of a horror story versus and inspirational tale. Glad you are safe and well.
Wow! Great shots!
The sky is simply endless in its fascinations and beauties!

So pretty!
Those sunset photos are amazing!
Still trying to figure out why they call it Inspiration Point. 😉
Amazing shots. Really peaceful. I especially like the sixth one with the swirls of white clouds. I can look at them and feel the quiet.
Wonderful photos, I’m enjoying the rest of your site too. Thanks for passing by my site as well. Keep on travelling.

Stunning – I went to the Cape of Good Hope in SA and it was utterly amazing. Breath taking.
