I have always felt Eve was blamed disproportionately. The sin was of equal share, since Adam ate the apple, even if it was just a bite and even though “Eve made him do it.” This poem does justice.

The devil, the devil. Who the hell is the devil?

Sure, he’s not ugly, he’s not lame, he’s a delightful charming man.
He and I had great discussions and his arguments were pleasing,
never did he disagree with my dark desires that were increasing.
Only virtues did he fight, with sweet falsehoods and lies,
Fool! You got now what you wanted. Now you have to pay the price.
So, I’ve learned he’s always cheating, only falsehoods he will tell.
Devil, devil, you great liar. Devil, devil go to HELL.
