you should get a lightweight tripod for your travel, they are really helpful. i too want a gorillapod for getting crazy angle shots and also for video work which i’ll start next month! :)

The rebel XT is a great dslr in itself!
I’d suggest that you should invest in a tripod, it’ll open up new horizons for you especially long exposures and low light.
I’m a nikon user, D7000, just got it last moth after my exams ended. Had been wanting one for the past 1.5yrs. I used to use a Canon EOS 500N film slr before, great stuff!

nope.. I actually have a very modest camera .. Canon Rebel XT .. I use Canon & Tamron lenses, however without tripod it’s near impossible to shoot in low light..

I’m not a professional photographer.. just your average student..

maybe soon I’ll invest into something nicer..
